About Event

SPIC MACAY, Pantnagar Chapter heralds the arrival of DHAROHAR'15-A National Level Annual Cultural and Literary Fest of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. It aims at linking our exquisite culture and ancient Indian heritage with the youth of our nation, elevating them to a level of serenity and glory by providing them a mega platform to showcase their rich and varied talents. Several cultural and literary events are conducted, followed by the open air events, in which the individuals can participate with immense zeal and enhance their skills to a whole new level.

Dharohar, the enthralling cultural and literary fest aims at promoting Indian culture through active participation of the youth in several diverse activities, such as ‘Roobaroo’, the personality hunt, ‘Vigyapti’, the social paper presentation, ‘Parivesh’, the ethnic ramp show,‘Parichay’, the quiz competition, ‘Ahwaal’, the dramatics competition, ‘Jharokha’, the movie fest, ‘Vaividhya’, the open air events, ‘Jhanak’, the Dance competition, " Junoon", the Fusion Band War, ‘Raaga’, the singing competition and " Mehfil", the Artist Evening. The coming artist night in Dharohar ‘15 will be graced by the presence of Mrs. Malini Awasthi, a renowned folk singer.

How to reach College of Technology Pantnagar

Persons coming from Delhi may board the Ranikhet Express and get down at Haldi Road Station where the University bus will be available for Internal transport. Else, they can travel by any bus plying towards Haldwani via Moradabad Rampur and Rudrapur, and get down at Phoolbagh, two kms west of the Administrative Building. Persons coming from Delhi may also use the Air services from Delhi to Pantnagar Airport. Flight is available on Sunday,Tuesday,Wednesday and Friday from Delhi Airport as well as Pantnagar Airport. Persons coming from Lucknow may board the Nainital Express and get down at Pantnagar Station. Persons coming from Agra may board the Kumaon Express and get down at Pantnagar Station. Persons from far east may reach Haldi Road station by Howarah Kathgodam Express.
